Understanding L1 and L2 teachers’ talk about ‘digitalisation’

In Sweden, The Swedish national strategy for the digitalisation of educational system has led to a vast number projects. This study builds on material from continuing professional development project among L1 and L2 teachers in local school level. aim is contribute understanding how perceive integration digital technology practice by deconstructing their discussions Critical discourse analysis perspective. Research questions: 1) What perceptions about can be discerned? 2) How are these related teaching profession Swedish? 3) do build through discussions? shows challenges dominates teachers’ that partly perceived as threat and, some extent, Swedish. A key finding way enacted, ‘digitalisation’ becomes reason what happens. Consequently, abstraction seems hindrance work.
